This is part of my healthy eating. It is a chicken spinach salad recipe I got from You: The Owner's Manual. It has lots of great recipes.

April 25th--Conference Planning

Did I just finish a conference? Suzanne was inspired by the writing conference and now she is planning to adapt the idea to a science symposium. Here we are discussing some ideas for her project. Her daughter, Charlotte, is a fabulous photographer!

April 24th--Paintings from Crete

These are some paintings I bought the last time I was in Greece. The artist is from Crete, although I bought them on Mykonos. Maybe I can pick up some more this summer when Tiffany and I go with our grant from the Fund for Teachers.

April 23rd--All Set to Go

I may not have made it through the raw diet, but I am trying to exercise more and eat healthier. I've packed my bag and am ready to go.

April 22nd--Karyn's

Venu and I tried eating raw for two weeks. She was successful; I was not. In order to celebrate

our success or lack thereof, we went to lunch at Karyn's Raw Restaurant. It was actually good! You can't imagine what they can do with kale!

April 21st--Green Festival

The Writing Conference is coming up on Friday and Saturday. My classroom has been converted into the staging grounds. My students and the staff at Peirce have been a huge help!

April 9th--What a Relief!

I bought two awful tapestries in Mexico and then I suddenly came to my senses. I was able to persuade the shopkeepers to trade my disgusting carpets for this one and one other.

Rip-off Day 2: We went on a hike with Casa Sagrada. Basically they drove us up a big hill and we walked down. Here we are at the top before we realized it was a total scam.
